On December 9, 2022, the launching ceremony and academic seminar of the Tellgen total laboratory assembly line of People’s Hospital of the Pan’an County, Zhejiang Province, was successfully held.

Zhao Mingzhong, committee member of the Party Group of Pan’an County Health and Health Commission; Ma Yongjun, Director of the Medical Laboratory of Jinhua Clinical Inspection Center and Jinhua Central Hospital; Chen Baisong, Vice President of Pan’an County People’s Hospital, Huang Dongbiao, Director of Clinical Laboratories of Pan’an County People’s Hospital; Yao Jianer, Chairman of Tellgen Corporation and other leaders attended the launching ceremony of the Tellgen assembly line to jointly unveil the reference laboratory of Tellgen compatible total laboratory automation assembly Line. Experts attending the meeting came to Pan’an County People’s Hospital to watch the assembly line operation.

Afterward, the academic seminar was officially held at Baolong Art Hotel in Pan’an, Jinhua. The meeting was presided over by Director Huang Dongbiao and delivered by Director Ma Yongjun. Xia Xiaoping, Director of the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Medical College of Zhejiang University, Dr. Zhan Hong, Director of the Academic Strategy Department and Marketing Department of Tellgen Corporation, and Dr. Chen Yan, Marketing Director of Chemiluminescence Product Line, and other experts and scholars focused on the development and application of new laboratory technology, the application of assembly line in laboratory, the refined management practice of medical laboratory under DRG, the future development direction of laboratory medicine, and matters needing attention in paper writing and core journal submission.

Experts shared their insights into hospital management in the DRG era with the future development direction of laboratory medicine technology by selecting the flexible automation scheme suitable for developing clinical laboratories. They emphasize the importance of developing biochemical immune assembly line automation to improve laboratory work efficiency and highlight that using an assembly line can optimize the laboratory workflow and shorten the TAT time of samples. In the development of laboratory automation, Tellgen helps the laboratory to manage big data, which brings more intelligent application experience to the clinic. Medical laboratory professionals from Pan’an County Regional Laboratory Center attended the meeting, with frequent interaction and a friendly atmosphere. Pan’an County People’s Hospital is located in Pan’an County, Jinhua City, known as the ancestor of mountains and water sources. It was founded in 1941 and covers an area of 26 mu. It is the only second-class comprehensive hospital in the county that integrates medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention and health care. It is the Pan’an Branch of Jinhua Central Hospital, Zhejiang People’s Hospital Cooperative Hospital, Zhejiang First Hospital, Zhejiang Second Hospital, Provincial People’s Hospital, and Provincial Cancer Hospital. It is responsible for the medical and emergency treatment of more than 300,000 people in the county and surrounding counties and cities and is the county medical center and leading medical unit. Pan’an County People’s Hospital introduced a biochemical immune assembly line with transparent features, which adopted imported pre-treatment, track, and biochemical instruments, equipped with an automatic chemiluminescence immunoanalyzer and third-party immunoanalyzer. It cooperated with departments to build third-party intelligent post-treatment and automated specimen transmission systems. The fine-compatible total laboratory assembly line can complete the biochemical immune specimen pre-treatment (including sample handling, centrifugation, uncapping, and sampling), specimen detection and storage, simplify automation, and unify the clinical testing for the laboratory. To build the medical association and medical association of Pan’an County People’s Hospital for the benefit of the local people, putting into use the through-the-view feature compatibility assembly line will significantly improve the detection efficiency of patient specimens, effectively shorten the patient’s waiting time for the report, promote the intelligent improvement of the detection ability of the laboratory, build an innovative laboratory management platform, better meet the needs of clinical diagnosis and treatment, and provide more efficient and better medical services for the masses.

Features, compatibility, pipeline advantages

  • Economic Friendly: according to the laboratory requirements, configure domestic and imported immune analyzers of different brands, and reduce the overall operating cost while considering the quality;
  • Comprehensive Menu: Its compatibility makes it capable of comprehensive assay testing and process optimization. It covers all biochemical and most chemiluminescence biomarkers on the assembly line;
  • Reliable Operation: the pre-treatment and track of the assembly line are imported equipment, which has the most significant installed quantity in the world and good stability. The domestic equipment connected online is the TESMI i200, which has stable instrument performance and accurate detection results, thus ensuring the strength of the whole line.

Based on the improvement of the national medical security system, the number of patients and specimens in the laboratory is increasing daily. Providing faster, more accurate, and more comprehensive testing information for the clinic is the primary direction of the future development of medical laboratories. Through the in-depth application of new technologies such as automation, intelligence, and information technology in the laboratory industry, Tellgen effectively integrates workforce, equipment, and environment and is committed to continuously promoting the intellectual development of medical laboratories to serve the clinic and patients better. While the “hero behind the scenes” of laboratory medicine came to the stage, it also faced unprecedented challenges. After this unparalleled war of epidemic prevention and control, the critical value of diagnosis has been known and recognized by more people. To meet the increasingly complex, diversified, and multi-level medical needs, laboratory examination needs continuous development, upgrading, and iteration, to bear the acceleration of scientific and technological progress, highlight the value of diagnosis and lead the pace of industry development and social needs.
